Our challenge was to create a brand that would reflect the values of a family run business and meet the needs of an Italian consumer. A consumer who is sceptical of big 'industrial' brands and is looking for smaller 'local' brands as they feel the food will be less 'processed' and more 'natural'.
Casa del mare is located by the Adriatic sea and has been supplying fish and seafood since1960. Inspired by the family's respect for the sea and tradition we created an identity that combined heritage and modernity through a banner that revealed their seafood expertise through the use of negative space. The use of natural colours and textures supported the 'fresh food from nature' credentials to leave their competitors feeling processed.
