Ben the founder was a taste explorer on a quest to bring his love of South American flavours to the masses. We set out on our own quest to capture his ambitions and represent Capsicana as the real deal not just another Mexican me-too.
Breaking away from me-too-mediocrity
To capture the distinctive origin and adventurous character of the brand proposition we created a bold, contrasting brand property in the form of the South American map. Iconic with playful typography and a striking colour palette, our pack designs celebrate the vibrant flavours of Latin American food & culture with maximum impact on shelf.
The redesign immediately helped grow listings from a handful of stores to 743 Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Whole Food's stores nationwide and has led to the launch of 5 new products in 2018.
